1. Outside Teaching Time – 100% of teachers use technology every day for attendance through X2 SMS. Duxbury is working towards 100% of teacher use in the following areas: lesson planning, administrative tasks, communications, and collaboration. Teachers share information about technology uses with their colleagues during faculty, grade level, and team meetings. Teachers lead Instructional Technology Workshops during PD days.
2. For Teaching and Learning – Duxbury is working towards having at least 85% of teachers use technology appropriately with students every day to improve student learning of the curriculum. Activities include some of the following: research, multimedia, simulations, data interpretation, communications, and collaboration according to surveys delivered in May of 2009.

1. Duxbury is working towards having 85% of eighth grade students show proficiency in all the Massachusetts Recommended K-12 Instructional Technology Standards for grade 8. At this time, this information is gathered through a survey delivered in May. 2. One hundred percent of teachers are working to meet the proficiency level in technology, and by the end of the 2010-2011 60 % of teachers will have reached the proficiency level as defined by the Massachusetts Technology Self-Assessment Tool (TSAT). According to surveys completed during the 2009 school year, 45% of teachers reached proficiency as defined by the Massachusetts TSAT.
C.Staffing
1. The district has a district-level Technology Director in place.
2. The district is working towards providing one FTE instructional technology teacher per 60-120 instructional staff. At this time there is one district Technology Director, one .75 grant funded Instructional Technology Coordinator, two full time Curriculum Supervisors, & 2 assistant principals who support teachers & lead the district in instructional technology goals.
3. The district has one full time system wide District Registrar and a part-time Database Manager to support student data and manage the student information database.
